Number Sense (Fri), Level A

OCYL: Mayor's Office of Children Youth and Learning

Cumberland, RI

About the program

Full Year includes 30 class days. Children learn math concepts through games, circle time, songs, learning centers, whole group activities and everyday math related experiences and problem solving. Children develop number recognition, counting skills and learn to use numbers and language to compare quantities and solve problems. Sorting, patterning, measurement, graphing, shapes and number formation are included in the number sense curriculum, which is aligned with the RI Early Learning & Development Standards. We strongly recommend new families schedule a private tour with the Early Childhood Coordinator before registering. Please contact the main desk at main.ocyl@gmail.com or (401)475-0929 x1 to request a time with Mrs. "B" Lori Beauregard. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Drop-off Class and therefore children must meet the following requirements; use the bathroom independently, separate easily from parent/guardian, and be 3 years old by the first day of class.
