About the program
This four-meeting clinic focuses on skills and drills as well as helping athletes get ready for the upcoming season. Meeting dates are Thursdays: October 10, 17, 24, and November 7 at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverley Ave, Watertown, MA
Philosophy:
Watertown Basketball School tries to make the game fun and enjoyable while stressing that basketball is a game of fundamentals. Fundamentals are the key to success. We encourage any level of play including beginners to join. We will try to dictate the level of instruction to the individual needs of the student. It’s never too early or late to learn.
Students must check in Thursday, October 10 between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. at the Watertown Middle School Gym.

Defensive Principles/Rebounding

Layups (Right, Left, Reverse)

Divisions:
Students will be placed in the division that Watertown Basketball School feels will be the most beneficial to them.

Head Boys Basketball Coach
Watertown High School
Coach Harrington has guided the Red Raiders to twenty-eight straight tournament appearances while compiling 451 wins. While at Watertown Coach Harrington has helped guide Watertown to 3 State Titles, 5 State Finals, 9 Final Fours, and 12 Elite Eights. Coach Harrington was recognized at the Boston Globe’s Division III Coach of the Year for 2002-2003, 2006-2007 and 2017-18.

Coach Tempesta is entering his 2nd season as Head Coach in Watertown. Coach Tempesta helped guide his team to the State Tournament during his first campaign as head coach at Watertown. Coach Tempesta has worked and spoken at numerous camps and clinics throughout New England.

Watertown Middle School/Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Kullman was a 3-year starter at Lunenburg as well as Captain to a 20-0 Hall of Fame Team. He has been involved in youth sports since moving to Watertown in 2006 and has been president of Watertown Youth Basketball since 2019 while coaching AAU.
